IADC WellSharp^™Driller Level Drilling, Workover-Completion, Combined Surface/Subsea Course

The Driller Level course is designed for personnel who are engaged in drilling and/or workover/well completion operations that have responsibility for detecting a kick and shutting in the well.  This course focuses specifically on the Driller’s primary responsibilities rather than on advanced calculations and well control methods.

Course Content:

This course includes kick prevention, influx detection, well monitoring, introduction to barrier management, and well shut-in.  This competency-based well control course also includes training for commonly used well control techniques with workover operations. The latest information and technologies available are utilized to instruct maintaining control of the well during drilling and/or workover/well completion operations.
